If only I had managed to find something like the Tory Burch Salem Suede Pumps while I was still working for that company, all of my workplace footwear issues would have been easily solved.
I couldn’t wear heels because my average day at work required too much walking (and outdoor walking, at that), and I often found myself resorting to rather unflattering pairs of tory burch flats in an attempt to be both comfortable and work-appropriate. Fashion went right out the window.When I worked in an office, I used to dread buying shoes for work. I was in the marketing department of a resort with a very large campus, and anyone that works in a large office can probably relate to the pains of getting around a place like that on a day-to-day basis.
Just because the heel height is low and easily walkable doesn’t mean that toryburch ignored the importance of texture and detail when designing the shoe. The rich suede and tonal leather trim ensure that the design looks expensive, and the chain across the toe gives you a bit of shine when peeking out from under your work trousers. The pair comes in black as well, and if I still worked in an office, I’d have to own both immediately.

Fashion comes out to say “No” to financial crunch. Some designers make crunch-friendly collections, while others make totally exclusive, and thus expensive, stuff to show things are great, guys.
christian louboutins is one of these designers. His last shoe collection is aimed to appreciate “art, beauty and craftsmanship in its purest form.” And his latest muse is legendary French queen Marie Antoinette.
louboutin shoes teamed up with embroiderer-to-the-Couture Jean-Francois Lesage to create a limited edition collection of only 36 exclusive pairs.
The silk peep-toe, ankle strap stilettos come in three colors of soft pink, canary yellow or bright blue, and are covered with hand-embroidered flowers and lace edging, reminiscent of the Queen’s fabulous style.
Every shoe has an adornment of a face on the ankle strap that’s completed with pompadour wig and topped with a miniature of a ship, one of Marie Antoinette’s more famous hair adornments.
To show the exclusiveness of the collection every pair is stamped with a limited edition number and sold in an exclusive box. Every shoe is truly a work of art, a blend of sculpture and fine embroidery in an evening silhouette.
The shoe is impressively unique, so is its price of $6,295 per pair.
Though I love christian louboutins designs, I don’t think I could ever wear these shoes. And it’s not only about the price, the head on the strap makes me think of Gorgon.
So far the one and only celebrity to don these louboutin shoes on red carpet was Beyoncé Knowles.

Manolo Blahnik Strappy d’Orsay Sandal
The Manolo Blahnik Strappy d’Orsay Sandal have caught my attention. The linear strappy design draws you in to the simplicity of these gorgeous shoes. The thing that holds me back from being head-over-heels in love with these shoes is they look a bit too sophisticated for me.
You can’t complain too much about a pair of shoes being gorgeous and sophisticated, can you? There is belt loop detail over the open toe along with two ankle straps with adjustable buckles. The heel is 4″.
When Sex and the City the series was running, Manolo Blahnik shoes were the shoes everyone had to have. But there has been a shift and the red soled bottoms of Christian Louboutin have taken the thunder from Manolos. That being said, I still find some beautiful more subdued Manolo Blahnik shoes.
When summer is here, I love khaki, crisp white, and nautical blues Manolo Blahniks . And these Manolos would be a perfect addition.

Victory’s christianlouboutin shoes PASS ON HER WARDROBE
Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, the mother of three sons, says she wants to have a daughter so she will have someone to pass on all her clothes.
On being asked if she would consider another child, Victoria replied, “I’d love to have a girl – just for all the clothes I’ve got to hand down.”
The little girl will have quite a wardrobe stash to look forward to. Featuting on the cover of the August issue of Allure magazine Victoria told in her interview:
At the moment, we’re fine, the five of us.At some point, I’d love to have a girl, you know – just for all the clothes I’ve got to hand down. It would be tremendous fun. I’ve got great girlie advice that I can share.”
Talking about her looks, she added:
I just make the best out of what I have. I’m not out-of-the-ordinary-looking at all. I’m incredibly ordinary.
She also revealed she hates being photographed and being the centre of attention, saying, “I’m not the kind of person that stands there and loves the attention. It might look that way but it makes me very, very nervous.”
While there is no baby daughter, Vicky loves spending time with the youngest of her boys Cruz. On this photo they are in New York this winter.

If I’d had a big grin, it wouldn’t have matched the outfit. It’s about making the dress look good. I have a photographic memory [for clothes]. I can remember what everybody wears, all the time.”
Her future baby daughter, well, if there will be one would turn out quite lucky to have such huge wardrobe of pretty mommy’s clothes… The question is… are there lots of timeless gowns?
